USA: Tickle Water launches sparkling waters for children

New York, US based Tickle Water has introduced a new line of bottled water products that is promoted as “the first unsweetened sparkler in the market for kids”.

Tickle Water Sparkling Water For Kids is advertised as being naturally flavoured and certified OU kosher, as well as free from “hidden ingredients” including preservatives, sodium, GMOs, gluten, calories, artificial sweeteners and sugars.

Claimed to “offer[ ] an exciting sipping experience that quite literally ‘tickles’ your taste buds”, Drink Tickle Water Sparkling Water For Kids is also said to feature “fun packaging and small plastic cans specific for little hands”.

Commenting on the launcjh, Tickle Water founder Heather McDowell said: "Many of the beverages made for children are full of artificial ingredients, sugars, and preservatives that are extremely harmful for growing bodies, not to mention the leading cause of childhood obesity. As a mom, I know firsthand how difficult it can be to incorporate healthier options into kids’ diets. I am excited to share Tickle Water with parents as a clean alternative to the sugary drinks that we are giving our kids".

As well as an unflavoured option, the new launch comes in varieties including Green Apple, Watermelon and Cola and is available in an 8oz can with a suggested retail price of $1.49 to $1.59.
