USA: Sunbelt Bakery launches Protein Delights

Granola snack bar producer Sunbelt Bakery has announced the launch of Protein Delights protein bars for the US market.

Claiming to "chang[e] the expectation of how protein bars should taste", Sunbelt Bakery describes the line as "featur[ing] a rich, indulgent taste unlike any other protein bar on the market today". The individually-wrapped wafer bars contain six grams of protein, whole grain wheat and no preservatives, making them ideal for consumers looking to satisfy their food cravings or provide a quick source of energy to get through the day, according to the company.

"Sunbelt Bakery is known for its delicious snacks with a bakery-fresh taste that everyone loves to eat. Our Protein Delights are no different as the deliciously light, yet rich taste of these whole wheat wafers will forever change the expectations of how protein bars should taste", said Jeff Badger, brand director for Sunbelt Bakery. Sunbelt Bakery Protein Delights Protein Bars come in the varieties Peanut Butter Crisps and Fudge Dipped Peanut Butter Crisps and are being made available across the USA for an RRP of $2.99.
