USA: Pernod Ricard launches Absolut Lime Vodka

Pernod Ricard, the global wine and spirits firm, is to launch a new Lime flavoured vodka under the Absolut brand, joining existing citrus flavours Citron and Mandarin.

Like its citrus counterparts, new Absolut Lime features its own distinct flavor profile with a balance of full-bodied citrus flavour with a light finish, the company said.

Nick Guastaferro, director of marketing for Absolut at Pernod Ricard USA, commented: "Lime is a very dynamic and complex fruit and we believe we’ve created the perfect flavour blend in Absolut Lime to enhance and elevate a variety of cocktails. Thanks to a delicious flavor and easy mixability, Absolut Lime is great for going out or staying in, for creating simple or complex cocktails”.

Absolut Lime Vodka will be available in 750ml and 1L bottles at an RRP of $19.99 and $24.99 respectively.
