USA: Loft launches Hemp Infused Herb Tonic

Loft, a US start-up firm, has announced the launch of the first of its “non-psychotropic, phytocannabinoid-rich” Hemp Infused Herb Tonics, according to an article in Beverage World.

The result of two years of development, Loft Hemp Infused Herb Tonics are “an herbal tonic with the restorative, mood-enhancing benefits of hemp and other botanicals – artisan crafted for deliciously balanced flavor”.

“Loft was born out of a desire to offer the first ready-to-drink, healthful hemp-infused herb tonic to the beverage world and is on a mission to educate American consumers on the benefits of hemp derived phytocannabinoids and their implications in providing sustainable, natural solutions for enhanced wellness”, said Loft co-founder Michael Christopher.

Consumers can choose from Green Tea, Passionflower & Curcumin, Yerba Mate, Peppermint & Lemon Peel, and Chamomile, Hibiscus & Lemon Balm varieties, each presented in a 12 fl oz (355ml) bottle.

The line is set to be available to purchase from this summer, initially launching in the New York / Tristate area.
