USA: Dream Foods International acquires Casa Mexicana brand

Dream Foods International, a specialist in organic juices and natural ethnic foods, has announced the acquisition of the Casa Mexicana brand from Hispanic Specialty Brands for an undisclosed sum.

Products available under the Casa Mexicana brand include taco seasoning mixes, boxed rice and dry soups. Dream Foods International said that the acquisition of Casa Mexicana would expand its brand portfolio and allow it to continue focusing on healthy and gourmet food products.

"The Casa Mexicana brand is a great addition to our portfolio”, said Adriana Kahane, founder of Dream Foods International, LLC. “It expands our presence to the dry grocery category and allows us to service the fast growing Hispanic food trends in the market".
