USA: Blue Diamond launches non-dairy egg nog

US non-dairy milk producer Blue Diamond is adding an almond-based egg nog to its Almond Breeze line up for the festive season, according to a report in CNBC.

Debuting in Classic and Vanilla Chai Spice varieties, Almond Breeze Egg Nog will add to the existing Almond Breeze line up of sweetened and unsweetened almond milks in flavours such as chocolate, vanilla and honey

Almond Breeze Almondmilk Nog comes in 1qt screw-cap cartons, with the Classic variety is described as featuring "smooth and creamy taste of traditional eggnog with notes of nutmeg and cinnamon" and the Vanilla Chai Spice variety "blending delicious, creamy vanilla with a unique combination of Chai and holiday spices". The products are sold chilled and are claimed to contain only 60 calories per serving.
