UK: Yumsh Snacks releases soft drink inspired popcorn

Yumsh Snacks, the firm behind the Ten Acre brand of crisps, is releasing new flavoured popcorn based on Tango soft drinks under its Poptang brand name.

The popcorn, which comes in Tango Orange and Tango Apple varieties, is claimed to be gluten, dairy, GMO and MSG free, as well as vegan-friendly and kosher.

Commenting on the new launch, Yumsh Snacks chief executive Tony Goodman said: "Poptang is about to make a fruity explosion in the snack world. Yumsh Snacks are renowned for their premium quality popcorn and ‘Free From Plus’ credentials. These have been intrinsically woven together with two sensational flavours from Tango – an iconic UK brand. The result is a fizz-tastic new snack, which will tang the socks off the nation".

Both flavours are available in 20g and 70g bags with an RRP of £0.69 ($0.91) and £1.59 ($2.11).
