UK: Soreen launches Squidgy Cake Bites

UK malt loaf producer Soreen has expanded its portfolio with the launch of Soreen Squidgy Cake Bites, a "shareable" cake product that comes in bitesize pieces.

Squidgy Cake Bites comes in in a tub of 12 and are available in Chocolate and Toffee flavours. Thye have an RRP of £2 ($2.45) and are available at Asda, Tesco and Ocado in the UK.

Commenting on the launch, Soreen marketing director Bethan Brown said: "Given the success of our cake bar formats, we felt it was right to launch Squidgy Cake in a shareable format to meet the demand for healthier treats that don’t compromise on taste. They are a great addition to our cake range and help to show that Soreen can be enjoyed in many formats and occasions".
