UK: New sloe gin launched by Bloom

Bloom has added a sloe gin to its portfolio of London dry gins, FDIN reports.

The new Bloom Sloe Gin is described as using hand-picked sloe berries steeped in Bloom Gin, distilled in a traditional copper pot still. Its appearance is rich ruby red, while on the nose it has a subtle aroma of almonds and kirsch, blended with the light floral aroma of Bloom London Dry Gin, it is reported. The taste is described as having a smooth opening, rounded off with some sweetness.

Bloom Sloe Gin has 28% abv and retails for around £25.
