UK: Mary Berry licensed dessert range launched

The Hain Daniels Group, a Leeds, UK based producer of food and drink products, is launching a new line of desserts in collaboration with celebrity cook Mary Berry.

The licensed range is set to include a Belgian chocolate brownie pudding and a luxury summer fruit pudding, with further products planned for the future.

The brownie is described as being filled with dark chocolate chunks and is served with a white chocolate sauce. Meanwhile, the summer fruit pudding features layers of white bread infused with summer fruit syrup and topped with summer fruit compote.

Mary Berry said: “Bringing my puddings to the retail aisle is a very exciting prospect and I have thoroughly enjoyed crafting a few of my favourite recipes. My childhood memories of sitting around the table and the anticipation of my mother bringing the dessert to the table inspired the new range. I’m very much looking forward to sharing my favourite sweet treats with families across the UK”.

The Mary Berry range has a recommended retail price of £3.50 ($5.08) and is now available in the Tesco and Ocado retail chains.
