UK: Japan Tobacco International launches “signature blend” organic Amber Leaf tobacco

Japan Tobacco International (JTI)  is expanding its range of rolling tobacco with a new premium Signature Blend line under the Amber Leaf brand which is made with organic Brazilian tobacco.

Amber Leaf is produced by the Gallaher Group, a division of JTI, and is sold in countries such as  Japan, the USA and the United Kingdom.

Launched  on the 1st August, Amber Leaf Signature Blend comes in two pack formats: a 10g 3-in-1 crush proof box including papers and filters, as well as a 20g pouch with papers, sold, respectively, at £3.65 ($6.12) and £6.99 ($11.72).

Jeremy Blackburn, JTI’s head of communications, commented:  “Amber Leaf Signature Blend is a unique proposition in an RYO market that continues to perform strongly. Allowing retailers to respond to the growing market for hand-rolling tobacco, its addition to the house will enhance the range and strengthen the brand”.
