UK: Bimbo to launch its first own branded range of products
Mexican multinational bakery company has launched for first time in the UK a line of bakery snacks under the Bimbo Little Adventures brand name.
According to Tim Barkey marketing director of Grupo Bimbo, the range has been developed to fill the lack of “innovation, inspiration and variety” existing on-shelf.
"As the leading bakery company worldwide, operating in many countries across the globe, we are in a strong position to bring the expertise we have developed and flavours we’ve experienced back to the UK," said Mr. Barkey.
The range, inspired in flavours from either France, Japan or Spain, comprises five references, Hazelnuts & Cocoa Pancakes, inspired by Japanese Dorayaki; Milk Chocolate Choc Buns, Dark Chocolate Choc Chip Buns and Pain Au Lait all of them inspired by French bakery; and Chocolate Flavour Mini Bites, inspired by Spanish snack. The RRP is £1.60 across the references, excluding the Mini Bites which has a RRP of £1.
