UK: Arla launches fruit & vegetable yoghurts for children

Arla, the Danish dairy cooperative, has announced the introduction of fruit & vegetable yoghurts for children called Arla Big Yogs.

Described as being made from 3% fat whole milk yogurt, natural fruit and vegetables, the new product is also said to be enriched with Vitamin D and calcium needed for normal growth and development of bones in children. It is advertised as being naturally sweetened with fruit juice concentrate and comes in the varieties Raspberry & Beetroot / Sweet Potato & Mango and Blueberry & Pumpkin / Strawberry & Carrot.

"Since we launched Arla Big Milk in 2015, we have been excited by the response the range has received from parents", commented Arla brand manager Holly Twiss. "The launch of Arla Big Yogs demonstrated Arla’s commitment to helping parents ensure their little ones get the nutrients they need to grow strong and healthy by creating delicious products enriched with essential vitamins and minerals".

Arla Big Yogs Yoghurts are available in 4 x 110g multi packs for an RRP of £1.69 ($2.19).
