UAE: Zoom looks to increase network to 500 stores by 2025

UAE-based supermarket chain Zoom, part of Emirates National Oil Company (ENOC), has announced its intention to open 30 new stores per year until 2025 as part of the regional expansion plans which also include new stores in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain.

The plan, which includes standalone Zoom stores, stores in ENOC’s service stations and franchise stores, is set to increase the firm's network of stores by 150". The move will "revolutionise the concept of convenience stores", according to the company.

"We are proud to have created a home-grown brand that delivers international standards and quality to our communities. Our priority is to enhance the entire customer journey through our stores", commented Saif Al Falasi, group CEO of ENOC.
