Thailand: Oishi launches cherry blossom & strawberry green tea

Japanese food and beverage maker Oishi is stepping up its activities in Thailand with the launch of Oishi Sakura (Cherry Blossom) Strawberry Green Tea.

The new flavoured tea, described as featuring “the unprecedented and immensely satisfying taste of mildly-scented sakura and sweet strawberries”, is also presented “in the first-ever colour-changing bottle in Thailand”, as the design of the label changes colour when chilled.

Commenting on the launch, Oishi senior vice president for marketing Jesdakorn Ghosh said: “It offers an unprecedented blend of mild-scented sakura and sweet strawberry flavor in the same bottle, and will stand out even more with breakthrough packaging featuring a cold-activated bottle, to boost up the RTD tea market at year-end”.

Consumers can choose from 38ml and 500ml bottles, with the colour changing effect available for a limited time.
