Spain: Cerealto acquires two facilities from Grupo Siro

Cerealto, the multinational food company, has signed an agreement with Grupo Siro to acquire two factories from the Spanish group.

The two facilities acquired by Cerealto are a bakery in Burgos and a sliced bread facility in Malaga. The deal is in addition to the recent acquisition of a biscuit factory in Portugal as part of the firm's expansion plans in southern Europe.

Cerealto manufactures bakery products including biscuits, cereal bars, pasta, bread, gluten-free products and snacks under its own brand, as well as for large distribution chains. It operates in 40 countries with facilities in Spain, Portugal, the UK, Italy and Mexico.
