Russia: PepsiCo expands production
Food and soft drinks giant PepsiCo has added a new production lineto its dairy facility in Nizhny Novgorod in Russia, to make yoghurt for children.
The facility, which will product yoghurt under the Agusha and Miracle Babies brands, also manufactures infant formula. With the new production line, the facility will increase production to 40 tonnes per day.
PepsiCo originally set up its plant in Nizhny Novgorod in 2014, since when the facility has been reconstructed to fit new processing equipment, bottling and packing lines for baby food brands and production lines for milk, milkshakes and yoghurt drinks. With the latest expansion, the plant will increase to 15 production lines.
