Portugal: Ignoramus launches dairy-free products
Ignoramus, a Portuguese firm focused on ethical consumer products, has extended its portfolio under the Cem Porcento brand with the launch of Veganissimo, a new range of vegan dairy-alternative products.
Cem Porcento Veganissimo includes two types of ready to eat ambient products: sliceable dairy-free cheeses sold in chubs and vegetable pates. In total, there are seven new introductions: peanut and cashew based non-dairy cheeses, the former available in a Pure Peanut variety and the latter in regular, Mediterranean, and Olive Bell Pepper flavours; and vegetable pates, available in the varieties Natura, Olive and Mushroom and claimed to be made with “simple” ingredients flavoured with spices and fresh herbs.
Among a range of product claims, Cem Porcento Veganissimo is described as free from gluten, soy, milk, GMOs, additives, preservatives and trans-fat.
The new line is being made available in supermarkets across Portugal.
