New Zealand: Frucor launches V Double Espresso Iced Coffee

New Zealand beverage manufacturer Frucor has announced the launch of a new version of its V branded iced coffee – V Double Espresso.

According to information, the product follows the traditional V Iced Coffee recipe but contains twice the ‘hit’ of caffeine and guarana with 322 calories per 475ml bottle. Initially launched for two weeks in July, the new variant was available in 7 / Eleven stores with a launch price of AU$3 ($2.78). The company now has plans to roll out the product more widely to convenience stores and service stations during the month of September.

Frucor was founded in 1962 and is headquartered in Auckland, New Zealand. In addition to the V brand  launched in 1997, Frucor brands include Just Juice, Fresh-up, McCoy, Citrus Tree, Simply Squeezed, Arano, H2Go, NZ Natural, G-Force, Supplement Water, Mizone, Moccona, Pepsi, Mountain Dew, 7Up and Frank. The company was acquired by the Japanese food and drink giant Suntory in 2009.
