Netherlands: FrieslandCampina introduces Vifit Sport

Dutch dairy cooperative FrieslandCampina has introduced a sports nutrition range under the Vifit Sport brand that is described as being high in protein.

The product range has reportedly been developed in response to the needs of both amateur and elite athletes and is claimed to help the body recover and build muscle after exercising,

Each ingredient in the Vifit Sport range is said to contain 20g protein, described as the quantity of protein recommended by experts to take after exercising.

The Vitafit Sports range includes drinks, shakes and bars offered in several flavours. The new range will be made available first in the Netherlands, to be followed by the rest of Europe.
