Mexico: San Rafael launches turkey breast sausage

San Rafael has introduced a product which is described as the first sausage made with turkey breast on the Mexican market.

Promoted as a healthy part of a main meal, each sausage contains 7.7 grams of protein and 101 calories. Packs contains eight sausages in two separate portions to maintain freshness.

Commenting on the launch, Antonio Romero, San Rafael brand manager said: “The new San Rafael Turkey Breast Sausage is an innovative product which translates all the attributes of turkey breast into an everyday format, without sacrificing the great San Rafael flavour. This launch is a great achievement for the brand, since we are bringing to the table a healthy and delicious sausage that is ideal for the whole family".

The new product is being made available in supermarkets across Mexico in a 500g format at an approximate price of Mex$45.80 ($3.09).
