Gama spoke to David Butler, Vice President, Innovation and Entrepreneurship, Coca-Cola.

What are your day-to-day activities as Vice President, Innovation and Entrepreneurship?

My current focus is leading our Coca-Cola Founders platform. We’ve designed a repeatable and scalable model for co-creating seed-stage startups with a global network of founders. I spend the majority of my time working directly with our portfolio companies on various aspects of their businesses and with our internal teams to get the most value out of our platform.

 

How do companies best achieve growth in developed or saturated markets?

Every established company has the opportunity to partner with startups to explore new technologies, new business models and use new capabilities that tend to be very difficult for most big companies to do on their own. I believe the ones that really embrace this will continue to lead their industries. The ones that don’t, simply won’t.
