India: MTR Foods launches single serve desserts

Ready-to-eat foods specialist MTR Foods has expanded its assortment with the launch of  new ready-to-eat versions of the traditional Indian sweets Gulab Jamun and Rasogollas .

The new format features  a microwaveable cup containing two pieces of the dumpling-like sweets, as well as a spoon enabling the product to be eaten on the go.

Commenting on the launch, Vikran Sabherwal, VP Marketing, MTR Foods said: “MTR Foods is very excited about this new range of Ready-To-Eat single serve packs of Rasgullas and Gulab Jamuns. For the first time in India, MTR has provided an innovative solution for Indian sweets which make them easy to consumer anytime and anywhere. Now our consumer will never have to wait to celebrate their happy moment no matter how unexpected”.

The products will be exclusively available in selected cities in Karnataka, Andhra Pradesh and Tamil Naduat.
