Germany: CFP Brands launches Nature Addicts rice crackers

German manufacturer CFP Brands has launched a new line of rice crackers under the Nature Addicts brand, according to a report in Lebensmittelzeitung.

Claimed to be “a new generation of savoury snack” and “a perfect combination of flavour and lightness’, the rice crackers are made from 95% jasmine rice and are described as gluten-free and baked rather than fried. They are being made available in the varieties Sea Salt, Black Pepper and Red Pepper, sold in 70g bags with an RRP of €1.69 ($1.89).

The ‘Nature Addicts’ brand is primarily known for its range of fruit-based products, including fruit snacks in flavours such as orange, raspberry, strawberry and apple, chocolate-coated fruit snacks, and apple and pear purees.
