Germany: Arla opens new distribution facility in Germany

Arla Foods, the Danish dairy cooperative, has opened a new distribution facility of 10,000 sq m near Hamburg ,which will supply the northern and eastern regions of Germany.

The distribution centre, which was completed last January, is operated by DSV Solutions. Warehouse capacity is already being expanded and is expected to be ready for regular operation by October 2016, according to Arla.

The new facility will store products from about 30 Arla dairy sites across Europe, employing 40 people.
