MANCHESTER – 23rd March 2016: Nisshin Cooking Flour Shaker, with its 'miniature' format and unusual dosing devices, is this month's recipient of the Gama Innovation Award – Packaging.
New in Japan from flour firm Nisshin, the Nisshin Cooking Flour Shaker innovates through its multiple measuring devices and preservation benefits. Promoted especially for "small families and less frequent users", the flour comes in a compact PET tub that is designed to ensure the flour inside stays dry. On top of this, the pack stands out through its dual dispensing mechanisms – the first an "easy to use" shaker, and the second a device that allows the consumer to accurately measure out one level spoon.
