Denmark: New private label ranges rolled out by Aldi

According to media sources, Aldi has recently expanded its line of private label products in Denmark.

The retailer, which has been present in Denmark since 1977 and currently operates 244 outlets, is enhancing its food and non-food ranges, including organic food and household cleaning products, it is reported.

In the food area, the Oko Livet (“Organic Life”) brand is being expanded with at least 10 new SKUs including items such as muesli, jam and honey.

Meanwhile, launched under the name Ideel and with Nordic Eco labelling, new hypoallergenic cleaners and detergents, as well as allergen-free washing powders and soaps, have been added to the household portfolio.

“This is only the tip of the iceberg”, said Gitte Rasmussen, store manager at Aldi Dianalund. “We are also looking forward to introducing a wide range of baby products by late February."
