Canada: Hempco Superfoods launches Planet Hemp brand

Canadian hemp specialist Hempco Superfoods has announced the launch of its new Planet Hemp brand, consisting of hemp oil, seeds, superfoods, supergreens and snacks.

According to an article in New Food Magazine, Planet Hemp is the company’s first retail brand and “is presented in clean and distinctive packaging, designed to reflect the natural, organic and environmentally-friendly values of the business and products”.

The Planet Hemp brand lineup consists of Hemp Protein Superfood “boosted with alfafa” and available in the varieties Original, Maple Cinnamon, and Vanilla Chai;  Shelled Hemp Seed, “certified organic and grown at a ‘state-of-the-art’ processing facility”; “cold pressed and filtered” Hemp Oil; Hemp Snacks, promoted as “little snacks designed for healthy indulgence”; and Supergreens, “packed full of hemp, spirulina, barleygrass, wheatgrass, alfafa, chlorella, and cinnamon”.
