Australia: Kellogg’s launches Special K Whole Grain Clusters

Cereal manufacturer Kellogg’s is launching a new range of of Whole Grain Clusters under the Special K brand in Australia.

Promoted as “a deliciously satisfying granola-style blend”, the company’s latest launch is said to provide “whole grains, fibre and protein” and is priced at an RRP of A$5.99 ($4.64). The product contains fruits, nuts and seeds, is offered in two varieties:Flame Raisin & Red Apple, and Flaked Almonds, Cranberries & Pepitas.

According to James Meins, senior brand manager for Special K,“There’s a misconception that healthy must be bland and boring, but not in this case.We’ve created a breakfast option that’s delicious with a satisfying crunchy eat. Special K Whole Grain Clusters has been designed with today’s busy woman in mind, great to have in a bowl with their favourite toppings or to snack on when feeling a little peckish”.

The first variety is described as “blend of three wholesome grains combined with plump flame raisins and sweet pink lady apple” while the second is “a blend of three wholesome grains combined with delicious cranberries, crunchy almonds and pepitas”.
