Australia: Bulla Dairy to launch Baileys flavoured ice cream range

Australian ice cream firm Bulla Dairy has partnered with global spirits company Diageo to launch a range of ice creams flavoured with the Irish cream liqueur Bailey’s for the Australian and New Zealand markets.

Although described as an “adults-only” product, the new ice cream will contain less than 0.5% alcohol, according to a report in Australian Food News.

The range comes on the market in three flavours – Original, Burnt Toffee and Chocolate – and is available in 500ml tubs and in multipacks containing 50ml mini sticks.

Now available in Australian supermarkets, Baileys Ice Cream is sold at an RRP of A$7.49 ($5.34) for the 500ml tubs and $7.99 ($5.69) for the mini ice cream stick multi-packs.
