Australia: Abe’s Bagel Bakery launches Vegemite variety

Abe’s Bagel Bakery has partnered with Kraft to offer consumers Vegemite flavoured Bagel Crisps.

According to Australian Food News, Abe’s Bagel Bakery Vegemite Bagel Crisps are thinly sliced oven baked bagels, with the Vegemite flavour “offering a hint of the spread.” The new flavour joins existing varieties Marlborough Sea Salt, Roasted Garlic, and Caramelised Onion & Balsamic Vinegar in the ABE’s Bagel Bakery line up.

The bagel crisps are said to be free from preservatives and artificial colours, while they are also said to have 50% less fat than standard potato chips.

Available in 150g bags, Abe’s Bagel Bakery Vegemite Bagel Crisps have a recommended retail price of  A$3.95 ($2.81).
