MANCHESTER – 24th June 2016: The Gama Innovation Award – Product for June goes to Happy Tree Maple Water Cold Brew Coffee, uniting recent trends for cold brewing and 'plant waters' in the non-alcoholic drinks industry.
Released by US firm Happy Tree – "the innovator of the first cold pressed / HPP maple water", Happy Tree Maple Water Cold Brew Coffee is described as "the first ever ready-to-drink coffee brewed in only maple water". According to the company, the product "starts with our early-season organic and non-GMO verified maple water, adds organic fair-trade certified coffee beans, and is cold-brewed to create a truly disruptive delicious black coffee with the naturally occurring nutrients and sweetness of maple water".
"Happy Tree Maple Water Cold Brew Coffee is set to carve out a new niche for 'plant waters' in the RTD coffee space", commented Gama editorial director Tom Warden.
