USA: Frito-Lay launches chocolate peanut butter flavoured popcorn

PepsiCo's Frito-Lay division has expanded its Cracker Jack brand range, unveiling a new variety of popcorn flavoured with chocolate and peanut butter.

The new popcorn is described as being coated with sweet and savoury chocolate peanut butter flavor and is promoted as ““add[ing] fun to your family's next snacking occasion”.

Haston Lewis, senior director of marketing at Frito-Lay, commented: "Chocolate peanut butter is among the most popular flavor pairings of all-time. What better way to celebrate National Popcorn Lover's Day than enjoying this new Cracker Jack brand flavor with family and friends".

Cracker Jack Chocolate Peanut Butter Popcorn is now on sale in 4-ounce bags across the USA and has a suggested retail price of $1.49.
